Sr. Manager, Operations Communications

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; onsite role supporting an in-office and in-field workforce.

Salary: $149,000–$198,000 base salary per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Advise the COO on audience, timing, tone, channels, and strategic communications opportunities.
• Build and manage the COO’s organizational narrative and message architecture.
• Prepare the COO for All Hands meetings, employee engagements, speaking engagements, and other key internal moments.
• Draft and edit remarks, talking points, business updates, Q&As, leadership messages, and video scripts.
• Lead communications through major initiatives, organizational change, and leadership transitions.
• Measure employee communications effectiveness and establish planning and review processes for consistent execution.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in executive, internal, or strategic communications, including significant C-suite support experience.
• Experience simplifying technical or operational complexity for broad audiences.
• Strong executive presence, stakeholder management, judgment, and discretion with sensitive information.
• Fluency in AI tools and confidence using them to streamline daily work.
• Applicants must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information as a U.S. person, without required authorization, or through likely approval for the required U.S. authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI, cloud, enterprise technology, or another fast-moving technical industry.
• Communications experience in data centers, energy, manufacturing, industrial technology, logistics, telecommunications, or similar infrastructure-intensive businesses.
