Senior Vintage Cellar Hand (Winemaking)

Location: Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand

Constellation Brands New Zealand and Australia grows, produces, and distributes recognised wine brands including Kim Crawford and Drylands.

What you will do

• Lead a small team of Cellar Hand staff during the 2027 vintage season.
• Perform physical winery work and operate production machinery.
• Participate in daily production meetings at the beginning or end of shifts.
• Work closely with the Production Leader and Shift Supervisors before and during Vintage.
• Support the production of Kim Crawford wine in a medium to large-sized winery.

Requirements

• At least 3 seasons of vintage experience within the last 6 years at a medium to large-sized winery.
• Sound understanding of the process flow from grapes to wine.
• Team-oriented, motivated, physically fit, and health and safety conscious.
• Comfortable working shifts and approximately 8–12 hours per day, 6 days per week.
• Experience leading a small team or working as a supervisor is preferred but not essential.

Nice to have

• Experience operating continuous flotation pools, high-solids filters, grape presses, or yeast rehydrators.
