Senior HV Project Manager (High Voltage)

Location: Remote - CA; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $144,790–$180,990 per year

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end delivery of utility-scale substation, transmission, and distribution projects from development and interconnection through construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
• Lead coordination with utility owners, interconnecting utilities, EPC partners, contractors, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Oversee interconnection activities, protection and control scope, relay settings, communication architecture, utility inspections, and approvals.
• Direct SCADA integration, including RTU/IED installation, point-to-point testing, utility control center coordination, fiber, communications, and telemetry.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, energization, documentation, redlines, and turnover packages.
• Provide strategic, technical, financial, and leadership oversight across concurrent HV projects, including budgets, schedules, contract exhibits, change orders, and client relationships.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of EPC utility-scale experience in the design and/or construction of utility-scale power substations.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, prioritization, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of dispatching methods, office practices, procedures, and equipment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting 20 or more pounds, walking, standing, climbing occasionally, and working near electrical and mechanical equipment.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license, PMP certification, or directly relevant industry experience.
• NFPA 70E Qualified Person status and knowledge of electrical equipment construction, operation, and related hazards.
