Water Engineer

Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States; the role also references the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario, Canada.

Base compensation: $87,000–$110,000 annually.

What you will do

• Build and maintain customer relationships, support proposals, and help strengthen the current market position.
• Manage and actively participate in municipal infrastructure projects.
• Direct design teams across project phases and review drawings and engineering reports.
• Coordinate with municipal, utility, and approval agencies.
• Manage project finances, schedules, and client communications.
• Support quality initiatives and mentor intermediate team members.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.).
• 5–10+ years of municipal infrastructure design experience on public-sector projects in Southern Ontario and Canada.
• Familiarity with local planning and approval processes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and client-service skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, associates, clients, and diverse teams.
