Senior Civil Engineer (10+ years)-Water/Wastewater

Location: Spokane, Washington, USA; full-time work at the Spokane office

Salary: USD 110,000–120,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead water and wastewater process engineering and land development projects.
• Develop site and grading designs, stormwater systems, and utility and facility plans.
• Manage projects and coordinate work across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and other disciplines.
• Design and support public water and wastewater treatment facility projects.
• Coordinate with local and state agencies, clients, senior engineers, and counterparts in other offices.
• Support proposals, business development, client management, team building, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Washington Civil Engineer P.E. registration is required.
• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• Broad civil engineering experience, including water and wastewater, land development, project management, multidisciplinary coordination, stormwater, NPDES compliance, and utility or facility planning.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, project management, mentoring, business development, and client management skills.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree focused on water and wastewater design or American Academy of Environmental Engineers Diplomate status.
• Experience designing public water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Experience serving as a prime consultant.
• Experience working with local and state agencies, environmental agencies, and local health districts.
