Laboratory Technician (Environmental Testing)

Location: Stafford, Texas, USA; candidates must be within a commutable distance. Full-time evening schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with possible overtime. Training takes place Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Compensation: $22 per hour.

What you will do

• Retrieve samples from Sample Control and prepare them for analysis.
• Perform aliquoting, spiking and tracing, reagent preparation, bottling, concentration preparation, separation, sonication, and liquid rack setup.
• Resolve labeling discrepancies and anomalies to ensure sample accuracy.
• Record analysis results, track samples, and maintain bench sheets and laboratory logbooks.
• Wash glassware, stock laboratory supplies, maintain equipment, and clean work areas.
• Support other laboratory areas and follow quality assurance and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry coursework and basic laboratory experience.
• Experience with warehouse or inventory activities.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, squat, maintain attention to detail, and follow safety protocols.
