Production Supervisor (Marine Manufacturing)

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States. Workplace: Onsite. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future. No travel is required.

Salary: $73,900–$90,500 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Supervise production employees and leads while assigning work and managing daily operations on the production floor.
• Own safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and people metrics; analyze results and execute action plans to close performance gaps.
• Improve production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions through employee engagement and problem solving.
• Lead safety audits, incident investigations, quality root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing, interviews, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, timekeeping, absenteeism, and employee relations in partnership with HR.
• Coordinate production schedules, materials, inventory, costs, and cross-functional resolution of upstream and downstream issues.

Requirements

• Associate degree.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong employee relations management experience and the ability to coach, direct, and develop employees.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work closely with operators.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• Knowledge of UKG/Kronos.
• Lean Six Sigma experience.
