Salary: $111,348–$167,023 per year.

What you will do
- Provide technical leadership for electrical and HVAC control systems, PLC programming, DDC controls, and automation systems.
- Define the technical vision, roadmap, architectures, design practices, and engineering standards for controls technologies.
- Review complex control architectures, sequences of operation, control strategies, electrical designs, drawings, and schematics.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for significant technical issues while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety regulations.
- Research and implement technologies that improve reliability, efficiency, manufacturability, serviceability, and product performance.
- Mentor controls engineers through technical coaching, design feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in electrical controls engineering or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical controls architecture, sequences of operation, and controls integration.
- Expertise in PLC and DDC programming; knowledge of the Carel platform is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, mentoring, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of NEC, UL, NFPA, ASHRAE, and other applicable standards, plus the ability to work safely in manufacturing environments.
