What you will do

• Inspect damaged automobiles and develop repair cost estimates.
• Negotiate repair cost agreements and evaluate repair or settlement options.
• Apply current automobile construction and repair techniques, statutory requirements, safety practices, and industry standards.
• Communicate inspection findings with claims associates, agents, insured customers, repair facilities, and other stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve claims by phone, mail, and on-site visits, including follow-up and problem resolution.
• Participate in arbitrations, mediations, depositions, trials, and catastrophe-duty assignments when needed.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a physical damage appraiser.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve complex issues, interpret data, and manage multiple assignments.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
