Trainer (Mortgage)

Location: Remote within Southern California

Salary: $76,405–$94,381 annually, with potential eligibility for annual bonuses and incentives.

What you will do

• Assess employee strengths, weaknesses, and training needs.
• Design and deliver training programs, curricula, handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals.
• Direct structured learning experiences and monitor training quality and results.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and support the application of learned skills in the workplace.
• Review and update ongoing programs to reflect changes in the industry, tools, and employee development practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in training or a similar field.
• High school diploma.
• Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of the residential mortgage industry, including correspondent or retail lending, sales, operations, capital markets, or mortgage products and services.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, regulations, and industry standards.
• Intermediate mortgage industry experience and intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely from Southern California.
