Digital Workplace AV Support Engineer

Location: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with travel to Hudson Yards in New York City, Holmdel, New Jersey, and other Guardian locations up to 25%; occasional off-hours and weekend support required.

Salary: $79,310–$130,295 annual base pay, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Provide onsite and remote support for conference rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, executive spaces, and hybrid collaboration environments.
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms and integrated AV systems, including cameras, microphones, DSPs, displays, control systems, and network-connected equipment.
• Perform room validation, live meeting troubleshooting, event setup, testing, operation, streaming, recording, and teardown.
• Deliver high-touch assistance and basic training to executives, end users, business stakeholders, and event organizers.
• Conduct health checks, preventative maintenance, incident tracking, root cause analysis, and long-term reliability improvements.
• Coordinate AV vendors, installations, repairs, deployments, lifecycle management, security reviews, standards, SOPs, and troubleshooting documentation.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years focused on AV and video conferencing.
• Enterprise experience supporting conference rooms, collaboration environments, live events, and preferably multi-site or campus environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Deep knowledge of AV hardware, signal flow, cabling, AV-over-IP concepts, integrated AV/IT environments, and network-connected systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, independence, and customer-service skills under time pressure.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale, multi-location AV environments, incident management, escalation handling, or IT service management frameworks.
• Experience documenting standards, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Background in hybrid meeting support, live event production, or streaming technologies.
• AVIXA CTS or vendor-specific AV certifications.
