What you will do

• Provide senior technical leadership to improve execution quality, accountability, and operational discipline across global network teams.
• Drive improvements in incident management, problem management, change quality, and root cause follow-through.
• Lead global operational deployments of new network products, ensuring they are supportable, monitored, and ready for scale.
• Establish and reinforce operational standards, runbooks, escalation models, and service health reviews.
• Partner with Network Engineering and Architecture to ensure new services are well-documented and operationally ready.
• Mentor engineers and technical leads to strengthen troubleshooting methods and ownership mindset.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise network operations, network engineering, or technical service reliability.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, WAN, LAN, wireless, and data center networking.
• Experience supporting mission-critical network environments with high availability and business continuity requirements.
• Proven ability to lead technical improvements across globally distributed teams through influence.
• Must be based in the US to support the hybrid work model in Arizona or Oregon.

Nice to have

• Advanced networking certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.
• Experience with ITIL, Lean, Six Sigma, or service reliability practices.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, telemetry, automation, or AI-enabled operations.
• Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs) and telecommunications vendors.
