Managing Consultant (Financial Services - Google Cloud)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with at least 2 days per week in the office or on client site, and up to 5 days per week on client site depending on the assignment.

What you will do

• Help shape and launch new service propositions and support strategic business growth.
• Lead business development initiatives, build trusted client relationships, own outcomes, and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Design and deliver end-to-end business solutions using Google Cloud and broader cloud, digital, data, and AI technologies.
• Develop the firm's Google Cloud capabilities and contribute to market-relevant offerings and thought leadership.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, particularly across engineering and architecture.
• Create delivery roadmaps and mentor colleagues while working with senior stakeholders and delivery teams.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of cloud strategy and implementation, particularly Google Cloud Platform, ideally at architecture level.
• Experience selling professional services, including consultancy and Google Cloud services.
• Established senior-stakeholder network in financial services and a track record of developing long-term client partnerships.
• Experience in banking, insurance, wealth management, payments, or financial infrastructure.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and architecture teams.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, digital, data, and AI technologies, including emerging technology trends.
