What you will do

• Lead buy-side and sell-side AI due diligence engagements under tight transaction deadlines.
• Manage AI maturity benchmarking, market scans, and portfolio value creation projects.
• Assess data assets, proprietary IP, technical architecture, and defensibility against advancing AI models.
• Translate technical risks, AI disruption, and business model implications into clear investment recommendations.
• Direct cross-functional teams, manage project risks, commercial viability, pricing, and client communications.
• Develop private equity relationships, identify new business opportunities, and mentor project team members.

Requirements

• Experience delivering rapid-turnaround AI due diligence, commercial or technology due diligence, or growth strategy projects in PE, M&A, or transaction advisory environments.
• Strong ability to communicate trade-offs to private equity deal partners, operating partners, and executive teams.
• Deep understanding of AI unit economics, data moats, cost structures, and AI-driven disruption in B2B software and technology-enabled services.
• Ability to quantify return on investment for private equity firms; equity analysis experience is valuable.
• Experience in technology delivery from a consulting, technology, or data-focused background.
• Structured analytical and technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate in ambiguous settings and develop commercial solutions.
