What you will do

• Define new power components and systems by translating automotive customer and market requirements into technical specifications.
• Lead new product development activities through the NPI process from concept to Release-to-Production.
• Develop system test boards, test plans, bench automation, and verification documentation.
• Design and analyze high-voltage, bidirectional DC/DC converter solutions, including 400V/800V to 12V/48V architectures.
• Support automotive customer design-ins through technical proposals, reference schematics, design reviews, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Develop customer-facing models, tools, datasheets, user guides, reference designs, application notes, and technical training materials.

Requirements

• BSEE required, with 3+ years of experience in power electronics design and/or applications; MSEE is a plus.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor automotive market and applications including powertrain, infotainment, safety, pumps, actuators, motors, compressors, chassis systems, radar, and LIDAR.
• Experience engaging with Tier 1 customers, securing design wins, designing solutions, and troubleshooting customer systems.
• Ability to use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, EMI analyzers, electronic loads, and power sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting technical information to customers.
• Ability to manage high-pressure customer engagements and collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and field application teams.
