What you will do
- Manage assigned construction projects with accountability for operations, administration, and bottom-line profit.
- Review estimates, budgets, contract terms, schedules, and project control systems.
- Lead job turnover, planning, mobilization, staffing, and project setup.
- Supervise subcontract bidding, negotiations, subcontracts, material purchases, and procurement.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and oversee construction personnel while enforcing safety, quality, and company standards.
- Maintain client relationships, cash flow, progress payments, reporting, and timely project closeout.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory experience.
- Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Drafting and computer skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
- Thorough understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, and other project management control systems.
