Senior Project Engineer

What you will do

• Administer construction projects and assist the Project Manager with project management.
• Maintain cost control ledgers and job cost statements, prepare billings, and expedite payments.
• Estimate, prepare, and negotiate change orders, including subcontract change orders.
• Set up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages, solicit and evaluate bids, and prepare purchase orders and rental agreements.
• Review plans, write project procedures, and supervise and train Project Engineers and clerical staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• 3–4 years of construction experience.
• At least 1 year of scheduling and estimating experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
