HVAC Technician

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; workplace category: onsite; no travel required. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation is not offered.

Pay: $42.42 per hour

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Clean, adjust, and service HVAC and air quality equipment, including warranty work.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and identify equipment maintenance risks.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain daily maintenance logs and records.
• Follow appliance standards, occupational safety requirements, service instructions, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Current HVAC certifications or licenses, including EPA certification.
• Journeyman HVAC card or at least eight years of verifiable HVAC technician experience.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and boiler systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans, with strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license; availability for short-notice after-hours, weekend, and holiday work and for working in confined spaces.
