HVAC Field Service Technician

Location: Carrollton, Texas, United States. Field-based work is conducted on-site at customer locations, with overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as required.

Hourly base pay: $30.92–$47.85 per hour.

What you will do

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to plan installations and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and maintain customer satisfaction across assigned projects.
• Support new facility setups, existing-facility retrofits, and on-site service activities.
• Enforce safety standards and track the condition and use of company assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5 or more years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions during the previous 3 years.
