HVAC and Refrigeration Technician

Location: Primarily at hirify.global restaurants and field locations in Columbus, OH; remote work is permitted only in Columbus, OH when not working at a restaurant location.

Salary: $20.67–$40.38 per hour, plus a target annual bonus of 7.5% of annualized base salary.

What you will do

• Perform reactive repairs on restaurant equipment and property based on work orders.
• Identify critical issues during restaurant visits and create and complete additional work orders.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and document repairs identified during PM inspections.
• Organize daily workloads and complete work orders according to assigned priority codes.
• Maintain accurate parts and company-owned tool inventories and follow warranty procedures.
• Report equipment, property, and maintenance conditions to support capital planning and provide equipment operation and PM training at the restaurant level.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of related general maintenance or repair experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical knowledge of electrical repair, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.
• EPA Certification Type I and II.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and perform kneeling, bending, twisting, and tool-handling work.
• Ability to work in Columbus, OH field locations, including restaurant sites, and in extreme weather conditions.
