Director, Electrical Engineering (Data Centers)

Location: Any STACK data center or Denver, Colorado, with remote work available for qualified candidates. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Domestic travel of up to 30% is required.

Compensation: $197,600–$221,300 per year.

What you will do

• Support data center campus master planning and project-specific design activities across the Americas.
• Oversee third-party design consultants and approve project contract documents while maintaining schedule and budget performance.
• Maintain and develop Basis of Design documents, digital Test Fit playbooks, BIM standards, and Revit-based design models.
• Implement digital technologies, including Power BI tracking and document-management workflows, with the Process team.
• Develop strategies for Digital Twin capabilities and support digital products used by Critical Operations.
• Identify and implement technologies that improve data center energy efficiency, cost effectiveness, security, and operational consistency.

Requirements

• Professional Engineering degree, preferably in electrical engineering; structural or mechanical engineering is also considered.
• 5–8 years of experience in the data center sector, including specification of electrical equipment for mission-critical facilities.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional, and cross-team projects.
• Ability to lead teams, manage diverse workloads, improve processes, and ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with multiple stakeholders.
