Manager, Software Engineering (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States, with three in-office days per week

What you will do

• Lead delivery and support for multiple Operations Technology applications, including annual fees, cash management, ACH, periodic payments, and retirement plan services.
• Shape and execute strategic and tactical delivery roadmaps with business stakeholders.
• Manage software projects involving vendor-purchased and internally developed solutions.
• Partner with architecture teams to evaluate technologies, streamline processes, and create business value.
• Manage workforce capacity, budgets, annual objectives, development methodologies, and accountability for results.
• Coordinate geographically dispersed teams and development activities across organizational lines.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of general experience and 3–6 years of management experience.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and delivering medium- to large-complexity applications.
• Experience managing technical resources, resource allocation, budgets, vendors, and software delivery.
• Experience with Angular, Java, REST, microservices, .NET, Microsoft and Oracle SQL, HP NonStop/COBOL, and related technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science or Information Technology, or required high school education.
• This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship, currently or in the future.
