Sandblaster

Location: West Jordan, Utah, United States; onsite, first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday–Thursday

Salary: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, plus possible shift differentials and overtime

What you will do

• Remove rust, scale, old coatings, and other contaminants from pipe surfaces to prepare them for coating.
• Inspect blasted surfaces and verify that the finish meets coating adhesion standards.
• Operate sandblasting machines, compressors, and related equipment, adjusting settings for different pipe materials and finishes.
• Protect threaded ends and other areas that should not be blasted.
• Set up blasting areas, arrange pipes, manage dust and abrasive debris, and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and record completed work, pipe types, durations, and issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Physical stamina, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and required personal protective equipment.
• Must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of sandblasting experience.
• Bilingual ability.
