2nd Shift Fleet Maintenance Supervisor (Heavy Equipment)

Location: Hutchins, TX, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Supervise A, B, C, and lead technicians performing preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Plan and schedule repair work to support safe, timely, and efficient shop operations.
• Oversee diagnostics, quality-control inspections, outside repairs, road tests, and corrective actions.
• Maintain and repair diesel and alternate-fuel trucks, containers, and other heavy equipment.
• Manage inventory, parts purchasing, expenses, maintenance records, payroll, and departmental budgets.
• Coach technicians, conduct training and performance evaluations, and participate in hiring and termination decisions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• ASE certification, including T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension and Steering, T6 Electrical/Electronic, T7 HVAC Systems, ASE T2 Diesel Engine, and ASE T Master Certified.
• At least three years of heavy-equipment maintenance experience.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a lead technician, supervisor, or management role.
• Thorough knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA, and federal and state regulations.
