Maintenance Repairman (2nd Shift)-2

Location: Berea, Kentucky, United States; onsite at the plant; second shift

What you will do

• Maintain and repair production equipment and plant facilities to support lift-truck production.
• Perform equipment repairs involving torch cutting, welding, brazing, and soldering.
• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, or replace electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, and plumbing components.
• Maintain electrical systems, tools, fans, motors, power circuits, water lines, air lines, hydraulic lines, and paint systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to equipment schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, comply with safety standards, and keep work areas, equipment, buildings, and grounds orderly.

Requirements

• At least six months of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma and continuing education in related fields.
• Ability to read and make decisions from drawings, specifications, manuals, and written and verbal instructions.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, electronic, mechanical, and plumbing systems; certifications or formal training in these areas is required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance and repair, manufacturing safety, and effective oral and written communication.
• Availability for second-shift work, either shift when required, overtime, and assigned training.
