General Foreman (Solar Construction)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Kirtland, New Mexico, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $90,000–$117,000 per year.

What you will do

• Supervise foremen, journeymen, construction trades workers, helpers, and field crews.
• Oversee construction activities and coordinate work for successful project completion.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, floor plans, electrical plans, and lighting plans.
• Plan and schedule work, track materials and progress, order supplies and equipment, and report on personnel, costs, and safety.
• Inspect work and equipment, identify deviations from quality standards, and ensure construction meets codes, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and field personnel, resolve construction issues, and assist with union grievance resolution.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in construction, concrete or masonry work, and crew or job management.
• High school or vocational school graduation, with journeyman carpenter experience and some supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Working knowledge of construction crafts, specifications, construction codes, and local and state ordinances.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, union contracts and procedures, job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Problem-solving ability, strong sense of urgency, and familiarity with computers, calculators, radios, and fax equipment.
• U.S. work authorization is required without current or future employer sponsorship.
