General Superintendent - Special Projects

Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States. Full-time onsite role with travel and supervision of projects across a large geographic area as required.

Salary: $160,000–$210,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Supervise field staff, multiple construction projects, and other superintendents.
• Recruit, organize, train, direct, and coordinate construction teams and subcontractor direct-hire work.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Prepare and maintain CPM schedules, monitor resources, and report project status, budgets, productivity, and progress.
• Set quality-control standards, coordinate inspections and punch lists, and verify subcontractor insurance certificates.
• Order materials and tools, prepare project reports, attend subcontractor meetings, and support schedule and profitability goals.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Senior Superintendent in special projects construction.
• Extensive experience managing multiple special projects and overseeing other superintendents.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor certification, or willingness to obtain it within six months of hire.
• Knowledge of all construction trades, with prior experience as a foreman, journeyman in at least one trade, or project engineer.
• Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting, cost control, OSHA laws, and construction problem-solving.
