Painter (Industrial Coatings)

Location: West Jordan, Utah, United States; onsite, first shift, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Thursday

Salary: $19–$21 per hour, with possible shift differentials and overtime pay

What you will do

• Prepare steel pipe surfaces and apply linings and protective coatings.
• Protect threaded ends and other areas that should not be painted.
• Operate painting machines, compressors, and related equipment, adjusting settings for the pipe material and required finish.
• Set up the paint area, pipes, scaffolding, supports, and safety barriers.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn coating-equipment parts.
• Record processed pipe types, work duration, and encountered issues while following safety and PPE requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer-sponsored immigration support.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Experience with steel coatings or industrial painting equipment.
