Piping / Welding Foreman

Location: Arden, NC, in the Asheville area; local candidates only. This is an onsite role for a permanent, full-time position, not a travelling tradesperson role.

What you will do

• Supervise daily field activities and ensure safe work practices and appropriate PPE use.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to complete projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Perform layout, installation oversight, and quality control for commercial piping systems.
• Maintain daily reports, timekeeping records, and project documentation.
• Train, mentor, and develop journeymen and apprentices.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, general contractors, and other trades to resolve field issues and support testing, commissioning, and turnover.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial piping and/or welding installation experience.
• Prior foreman experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Working knowledge of applicable mechanical and building codes.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in extreme weather, confined spaces, and physically demanding positions, including lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds.
