Instructional Dean - Elementary School (Bronx)

Location: Bronx, New York, United States; based in NYC with travel to hirify.global schools required.

Salary: $100,636–$195,427 per year, determined according to relevant experience and role responsibilities.

What you will do

• Develop and execute standards-based curriculum and instructional content for the elementary school.
• Set student performance goals, analyze achievement data, and coordinate targeted interventions.
• Build a positive, structured, achievement-oriented school culture and lead behavior and discipline initiatives.
• Coach teachers through classroom observations, feedback, instructional support, and performance evaluations.
• Plan and lead professional development, including summer training and staff development days.
• Provide operational support by coordinating schedules and student placements, ensuring progress reports are completed, teaching classes when needed, and supporting teacher recruitment.

Requirements

• At least five years of full-time classroom teaching experience.
• At least one year of adult management or teacher coaching experience.
• Experience developing academic programs, evaluating instructional effectiveness, and leading teams of teachers.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, decision-making, and feedback skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must remain within a commutable distance of NYC; moving outside New York State or beyond commuting distance may result in employment review.
