What you will do

  • Analyze student work and assessment data to lead data meetings and create school-wide action plans.
  • Monitor grade-level and content-area progress, coordinate assessment cycles, and support regional and network data analysis.
  • Observe teachers, provide real-time and ongoing feedback, and coach teachers and instructional leaders.
  • Design and deliver professional development, team meetings, and mid-year teacher onboarding.
  • Lead school-wide academic systems, including office hours, grade books, lesson internalization feedback, and data-response curricula.
  • Collaborate with the Principal and school, regional, and home-office staff to improve student achievement and socio-emotional development.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of teaching experience with evidence of outstanding student growth and achievement.
  • Demonstrated instructional coaching experience contributing to teacher growth and development.
  • Strong teaching skills and content knowledge across multiple grade spans or content areas.
  • Ability to plan and lead effective teacher professional development and develop lesson plans.
  • Strong people management, systems thinking, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree and commitment to Uncommon’s instructional leadership principles.
