Managing Consultant (Defence & Security)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden. Hybrid working requires attendance in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week, with assignments potentially requiring up to 5 days per week on client site.

What you will do

• Lead complex consulting engagements for Swedish Defence clients and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Advise senior client stakeholders on strategy, technology, and transformation initiatives.
• Translate Defence and security challenges into solutions involving digital, data, AI, programme delivery, and organisational change.
• Support bids, proposals, client presentations, account development, and new opportunities in the Swedish Defence market.
• Build relationships with government, armed forces, and Defence industry stakeholders.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, coach junior colleagues, and contribute to thought leadership and capability development.

Requirements

• Consulting experience at Managing Consultant, Senior Manager, or equivalent level in Defence, security, government, or a regulated sector.
• Strong understanding of the Swedish Defence and security environment, including stakeholders, policy, and procurement.
• Experience delivering complex transformation, technology, or programme delivery engagements.
• Experience contributing to business development through bids, proposals, and account growth.
• Experience with digital, data, AI, or advanced technology solutions in Defence or security contexts.
• Fluency in Swedish and English and eligibility for, or ability to obtain, relevant security clearance.
