BIM Coordinator

Salary: $81,200–$110,500 annually

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models for rail and transit infrastructure, including stations, maintenance facilities, track corridors, and systems.
• Produce 2D drawings, 3D models, schedules, documentation, and other digital deliverables using Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenBuildings Designer, and related Bentley and Autodesk applications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models, perform clash detection and model integration, and resolve design coordination issues with engineers, architects, designers, and project teams.
• Implement project BIM standards, workflows, and digital delivery requirements based on project-specific BIM Execution Plans.
• Perform model quality assurance and quality control reviews and support digital deliverables throughout all project phases.
• Improve BIM workflows, templates, and digital delivery processes while keeping current with industry best practices.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional BIM experience supporting transportation, rail, infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and OpenBuildings Designer, plus a background in producing engineering and architectural drawings.
• Experience developing and coordinating BIM models on large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, digital delivery standards, model coordination, clash detection, model validation, and QA/QC reviews.
• Strong understanding of engineering and architectural documentation workflows.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
