Structural Design Revit Engineering Specialist

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with work based in the Philadelphia and/or Douglassville office

What you will do

• Develop structural drawings for building projects using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of architectural and engineering designs.
• Format drawings to client standards using multiple software tools.
• Create BIM models in Revit and review them for design coordination issues.
• Collaborate with production team members and monitor projects for standards compliance and modeling errors.
• Prepare and support project deliverables for building structures and foundations.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Drafting and Design or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preparing plans, project deliverables, drawings, and files for building structures and foundations.
• Significant Revit design experience; samples must be available for review.
• Understanding of engineering and architectural documentation and structural drawing preparation.
• Ability to solve problems, work with minimal supervision, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in a group setting and monitor modeling work for standards compliance.
