Process Engineer - Polymerics (Advanced Electronics)

What you will do

• Maintain and improve process stability and capability within the assigned CMP manufacturing module.
• Use SPC, FMEA, process control reviews, metrology monitoring, and MSA practices to reduce variation and improve yield.
• Provide process, materials, and equipment engineering support to manufacturing operations.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, quality investigations, off-spec material disposition, and customer complaint support.
• Support new process and equipment development, product scale-ups, commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and small capital projects.
• Coach operators, technicians, and mechanics on process variability, capability improvements, and new equipment or process procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an engineering focus is preferred.
• 5+ years of industry experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a related area.
• Ability to solve problems, prioritize work, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with operations, maintenance, and other functional groups.
• Hands-on leadership and the ability to lead through influence with operators and technicians.
• Knowledge of process hazards, Process Safety Management, machine safety, engineering standards, and Management of Change procedures.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with JMP or Minitab statistical analysis tools.
• SAP knowledge or experience.
