Salary: $70,829–$136,704 per year

What you will do

• Teach a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum aligned with school and New York State standards.
• Plan targeted interventions and differentiated strategies for students with IEPs, diagnosed disabilities, or at-risk status.
• Provide individual and small-group instruction for students requiring additional support.
• Use data to guide instructional decisions and continuously assess student progress.
• Communicate student results and needs with families, special education colleagues, and general education teachers.
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented school environment and model school values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least two years of teaching experience is strongly preferred.
• New York State Special Education teacher certification is highly recommended.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collegial team environment.
• Demonstrated success in improving achievement for students from the communities served by hirify.global.
• Must be based in NYC or within a commutable distance and notify HR about any move or planned relocation; moving outside New York State may result in an employment review.
