Processing Operator

Location: Beryl, West Virginia, United States; onsite, 12-hour rotational 2-2-3 split shift

Starting hourly rate: $31.04 per hour

What you will do

• Operate plant processes, loaders, bark piles, raw-material systems, and control-room equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain stable production by feeding and managing raw materials, moving char trailers, and supporting loader operations.
• Complete preventive maintenance and cleaning on conveyors, production machines, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot plant downtime and process failures, identify root causes, and coordinate additional resources when required.
• Support maintenance planning, WCO activities, Journey Mapping, HOP, WPO, BDE, RIP reviews, Kaizen events, and Pillar Board activities.
• Document shift information and update production tracking and maintenance records using SAP PM, SAP BW, and the Daily Ops database.

Requirements

• Ability to operate and adjust plant machinery, mechanical equipment, functional components, and control instruments.
• Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and process failures and determine the severity and resource requirements of downtime events.
• Ability to perform physical plant cleaning, including hosing, sweeping, shoveling, grounds keeping, and debris removal.
• Ability to follow operating manuals, manufacturer instructions, OEM specifications, safety procedures, and site security requirements.
• Ability to maintain technical qualification requirements, complete training, and communicate operational information across shift teams.
