Maintenance Technician, Stockroom

Location: Onsite in Louisville, Kentucky, USA

Salary: $38.12–$45.20 per hour, equivalent to approximately $6,099–$7,232 per month based on 160 hours.

What you will do

• Receive, issue, return, organize, and track maintenance materials, spare parts, and repairable assets.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, material staging, work order kitting, and 5S housekeeping.
• Prepare repairable equipment for shipment, inspect returned assets, and maintain repair and spare-tracking records.
• Verify repair documentation, certifications, inspection reports, and completed repair scopes through incoming QA/QC inspections.
• Coordinate vendor-managed inventory, replenishment, stockout reporting, and vendor communication.
• Support BOM validation, critical spare reviews, outages, shutdowns, maintenance crafts, and equipment-preservation activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five or more years of hands-on industrial maintenance, maintenance storeroom, inventory, or repairable spare management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of maintenance inventory systems and SAP.
• Ability to read equipment drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, recordkeeping, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment and move maintenance materials as required.
