Admissions Recruiter (Augusta, ME)

Location: Bangor, Maine, USA; hybrid work schedule Monday–Friday. The role supports activities at the Augusta, Maine center and requires a valid Maine driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

What you will do

• Recruit eligible and suitable youth for the Job Corps Program.
• Screen applicants, determine enrollment qualifications, and support residential, non-residential, and Other Training Provider programs.
• Conduct community outreach, orientations, and interviews with applicants and parents or guardians of minors.
• Process applicant files through data entry, document scanning, and electronic filing.
• Coordinate with centers on applicant travel arrangements and maintain accountability for applicants, students, staff, and property.
• Perform quality assurance checks and participate in departmental meetings and required training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field; or an associate degree in one of these fields plus two years of related experience.
• Experience working with diverse youth.
• Experience may include Job Corps outreach and admissions or outreach and admissions work with other youth development programs.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work a hybrid Monday–Friday schedule and support applicants, including at-risk students.
