Senior VDC Engineer

What you will do

• Coordinate VDC activities and produce renderings, graphics, animations, models, and other project deliverables.
• Develop site logistics plans, pursuit materials, background models, project coordinates, and cloud-based collaboration workspaces.
• Use site surveying, layout, and reality capture technologies to compare existing conditions with design intent and create accurate trade models.
• Conduct constructability reviews, identify and resolve coordination clashes, and support coordination meetings with design and trade partners.
• Support scheduling, as-builts, facility operations and maintenance requirements, and fabrication deliverables such as layout and spooling files.
• Provide field support and help train project teams on VDC tools, applications, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of design, engineering, or construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of industry-standard BIM software applications; knowledge of Revit is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, with the ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Effective written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, critical thinking, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
