Supply Chain Material Program Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Penang, Malaysia. Hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work. Early morning and/or later evening meetings may be required to collaborate across time zones.

What you will do

• Manage outsourced buyer operations and act as the primary contact for supplier delivery and procurement escalations supporting ATM ramp activities in APAC.
• Own supplier procurement operations from forecasting through delivery, including RFQs and master-data setup in hirify.global systems.
• Manage outsourced buyers responsible for purchase-order placement and change management for capital equipment and supporting items.
• Coordinate supplier capacity to meet site ramp requirements and maintain manufacturing operations stability.
• Monitor supplier performance against delivery, quality, and ramp-specific KPIs, engaging suppliers and site stakeholders on escalations.
• Manage program schedules, dependencies, resources, risks, impacts, decisions, and overall program health.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field with 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience, or a master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced English fluency is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 3 years of experience with SAP or other procurement management systems.
• At least 2 years of supplier management or commercial negotiation strategy experience.
• Advanced knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, market dynamics, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Hybrid attendance at the assigned hirify.global site in Penang, Malaysia is required.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor manufacturing and procurement knowledge.
• Experience with Power BI, Excel, and data analytics.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• Experience solving complex problems across multiple stakeholder groups and presenting information to executive-level audiences.
