Operations Manager (Logistics)

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States; onsite fulfillment center role

Salary: $77,200–$100,333 per year

What you will do

• Lead all operations for a fulfillment center with up to 30 employees.
• Plan and control receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, inventory control, and maintenance activities.
• Optimize facility cost, productivity, quality, safety, and customer order fulfillment.
• Build and develop the fulfillment center leadership team, mentor employees, and manage performance processes.
• Own the location’s P&L and budgeting, analyze operational expenses, and implement improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, including FDA, EPA, DOT, OSHA, EEO, and AAP regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, distribution, or fulfillment logistics, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of supervision experience and 5 years of leadership responsibility.
• At least 3 years of ERP experience; SAP experience is preferred.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, financial controls, operational plans, and expense goals.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds, participate in team lifts of 56–100 pounds, and work in an office and warehouse environment.

Nice to have

• Warehouse leadership and logistics operations experience, including 10+ years in logistics.
• Experience with SAP EWM and inventory systems.
• Knowledge of distribution information systems, databases, spreadsheets, and order management systems.
• Experience with capital requests, financial justification, and project administration.
