Finance & Credit Manager

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; onsite, full-time

Salary: MYR 15,000–18,000 per month, with bonus potential and core benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain credit policies, procedures, credit limits, and risk mitigation measures.
• Assess customer creditworthiness and monitor exposure across large customer portfolios.
• Oversee accounts receivable, collections, aged debt reporting, escalations, and reduction of overdue balances.
• Monitor cash inflows, forecast receivables performance, and support working capital optimization with FP&A.
• Strengthen billing, invoicing, revenue assurance, internal controls, and dispute resolution processes.
• Produce credit risk, AR aging, cash collection, payment behavior, and DSO reports while leading process improvement and automation.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA, CPA, or CIMA qualification is preferred.
• 5–8+ years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable management, or finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, financial controls, customer exposure, and high-volume portfolios.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience; SAP or Oracle is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership experience is preferred for managerial-level responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Experience in telecoms, fuel, fleet, utilities, or B2B subscription industries.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
