What you will do

• Manage overall Sales Accounting for Malaysia, focusing on Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger activities.
• Oversee contractual rebate programs, including accruals, payouts, and reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare GTN analyses and recommendations to support management decision-making for Sales and Marketing teams.
• Handle sales tax computation, adjustments, and submissions while liaising with tax authorities and customs.
• Establish and maintain financial controls to ensure data integrity and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Lead statutory implementation projects, such as the rollout of e-Invoicing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational accounting, specifically in AR and GL.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and Microsoft Access.
• Sound understanding of local and US GAAP accounting standards.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to adapt to rigorous monthly financial closing cycles.
