TL;DR
Junior Accountant (Finance): Supporting monthly reporting and full-scope finance operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, banking, and tax reporting with an accent on reconciliation and management reporting. Focus on preparing AP and AR reports, reviewing sales and purchasing flows, and supporting audits and reporting enhancement projects.
Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; full-time onsite role

What you will do
- Support the Finance team with monthly reporting and management reports.
- Manage finance operations across accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform treasury and banking functions, including sales and purchase reconciliations with inter-company affiliates.
- Prepare monthly AP and AR reports and handle VAT and other tax-related reports and submissions.
- Review sales and purchasing process flows and support monthly operations reviews.
- Support annual audits and complete ad hoc reporting enhancement projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and work independently in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
- Critical and analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, organization, ownership, and strong interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Fluent English for communication with colleagues in the Asia Pacific region.
- Experience with Oracle HFM, SAP SD/FI-CO, or SAP S/4HANA modules.
