Sr. Principal Lithography Engineer (MEMS)

What you will do

• Develop and execute long-range technology roadmaps for advanced MEMS photolithography processes.
• Lead research, development, characterization, and implementation of next-generation lithography technologies, including 2PP, DLW, NIL, and maskless solutions.
• Develop scalable processes for high-resolution MEMS features, critical dimension control, overlay optimization, and vertical probe technologies.
• Lead complex design-of-experiments, statistical analysis, process characterization, and process-control development.
• Lead root-cause investigations using optical microscopy, SEM, FIB cross-sections, and other characterization methods.
• Collaborate with R&D, design, manufacturing, equipment engineering, quality, product development, and executive leadership while mentoring technical staff.

Requirements

• Onsite work in Livermore, California, during regular day-shift hours.
• At least 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, or 3 years with a PhD; equivalent experience is also accepted.
• Deep expertise in photolithography, laser lithography, photoresist materials, optics, and semiconductor fabrication.
• Experience with semiconductor development, engineering, and manufacturing, including process optimization and characterization.
• Experience analyzing MEMS structures with electron microscopy and other advanced failure-analysis techniques.
