TL;DR
Materials Engineer (Semiconductor): Developing and qualifying materials for EUV lithography light-source modules and components with an accent on material compatibility, microstructure, surface condition, and reliability in thermal, vacuum, plasma, and contamination-sensitive environments. Focus on leading failure analysis, interpreting SEM/EDS/XPS/AFM data, solving root-cause problems, and translating material behavior into system-level performance improvements.

Location: San Diego, California, United States. The position is onsite and requires in-person work-related events, training, and meetings. A flexible arrangement may be available for roles conducive to remote work, allowing up to two remote days per week. Domestic and international travel of up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $109,200–$150,150 base annual salary.
