Financial Lines Claims Adjuster

What you will do

• Handle a mixed caseload of financial lines claims.
• Analyse coverage, legal liability, and quantum, while interacting with brokers, insureds, external providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Investigate claims according to company standards and procedures and maintain accurate, timely reserves.
• Promote best practices in claims assessment and handling, including Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• Support the Claims Manager and claims team and provide underwriters with feedback on claims issues, wording, and market trends.

Requirements

• Successful track record in Financial Lines Claims.
• Detailed working knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment relevant to handling these claims.
• A legal qualification, or experience as a financial lines claims adjuster or litigator.
• Deep knowledge of commercial and civil law.
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to work as part of a team while taking individual responsibility for an allocated caseload.
