What you will do

• Handle a mixed caseload of financial lines claims.
• Assess coverage, legal liability, and quantum, and investigate claims in line with company standards and procedures.
• Interact with brokers, insureds, external providers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and timely reserving while promoting best practices in claims handling.
• Apply Treating Customers Fairly principles and provide ongoing support to the Claims Manager and claims team.
• Share feedback with underwriters on claims issues, policy wording, and market trends.

Requirements

• Successful track record in financial lines claims.
• Detailed knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment governing claims handling.
• Legal qualification, or experience as a financial lines claims adjuster or litigator.
• Deep knowledge of commercial and civil law.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach, with individual responsibility for an allocated caseload.
• Willingness to work primarily from the London office.
