Location: Office-centric work with the team based in Oval, London.

Salary: £38,000–£42,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage a personal portfolio of in-house home insurance claims from first notification of loss through settlement.
• Handle claims across different types and deliver accurate, efficient, and positive customer outcomes.
• Review claim referrals from third-party administrator partners and monitor partner performance.
• Own internal and external claims processes and improve service-level agreements.
• Streamline in-house claims operations to increase efficiency and improve customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, and Engineering on cross-functional projects and new-market launches.

Requirements

• At least 18 months of experience in personal lines claims, preferably home insurance.
• Technical expertise and an interest in supporting customers throughout the claims process.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, learn quickly, and solve complex problems in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Customer-first mindset and interest in scaling an in-house claims function.
