Inside Sales Rep (Animal Health)

Location: Sioux Center, Iowa, United States; onsite

Compensation: $17.36–$22.55 per hour

What you will do

• Generate new and repeat sales through inbound and outbound calls to assigned customers and territories.
• Provide product and technical information, recommend appropriate solutions, and use up-selling and cross-selling techniques.
• Handle customer questions, resolve problems, and build relationships with customers, internal teams, and manufacturing partners.
• Process orders, quotes, returns, and other customer transactions accurately in the order-entry system.
• Maintain customer, territory, interaction, and opportunity records; prepare sales reports.
• Verify pricing and terms, monitor shipment dates, and follow accounts receivable policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in animal health or agriculture, including farm or ranch experience with cattle, swine, poultry, or equine.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• General computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work onsite in Sioux Center, Iowa.
• Ability to sit or stand for most of the workday and occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Inside sales experience and a record of exceeding sales goals.
• Proficiency in SAP.
